Hey Alll,

I have a fair bit of experience with PPC Management. The website at hand is in the real estate industry, targeting a fairly competitive market. My client is running a decent monthly PPC campaign on the overture network.

Here are some stats:

01/25 12:00 AM PST: 485 Impressions, 3 Clicks and a click through rate of less then 1%. TERRIBLE IF YOU ASKED ME!!!

In other industries, I have achieved click through rates of 7-10% with much better conversions.

I am doing everything one should be doing with proper PPC Management. Setup specific landing pages with content that matches keywords being bid for. Directing very few clicks to the homepage, but rather to keyword specific pages.

What can I do, just based on this information to increase conversions? The site loads fast, has plenty of content, etc....

Could it be this is just a VERY VERY competitive market? The client is also ranked organically for a variety of TOP NOTCH keywords on Yahoo and MSN..

All help would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers

I had a client in the auto industry with the same problem. We tweaked our keywords, ads and landing pages around for a while until we achieved better results. HTH
