We have a common interface built. The interface has grown in size and currently we don't have an repository to check out the objects affected , when a new development comes in.
The object store details are in Files (Text Format) and the entries are also in the database.
For example if a new interface of standard "ABC Standard", we need to search the object store and findout what are the objects already using ABC standard and what are the database tables that have links.
In total, We want to built/have a tool which comprises of text search over files/folders and wildcard search on the database.
Pls advise on the approach and name the open source search engines which catter our requirement
