Hi,

Can someone please tell me, if external links like www.mysite.com?refid=1 are counted by Google for increasing the PR of www.mysite.com?

How can the difference between the PR of a the site written www and without www can be explained?

thank you!

usually a query string at the end defines a new page location which is filtered out as duplicate content and does not add to the primary pages pagerank.

off the start often google views the www. and non www. as different sites

Want a fix?

Use a different way of tracking referrals. You will have some sloppiness, especially with MSIE, but you can build a front-end script which logs referers and then gives credit.
