Title: Search Engine Optimisation Assistant
Leading West London agency seeks applicants with minimum six months experience in a search engine optimisation role. You will therefore have a good understanding of the search engine optimisation process and be current with regards to search engines and web directories in general. You will also need to be able to demonstrate the implementation of successful SEO strategies in organic listings and show a definite desire to continue working in this field.
A knowledge of web programming skills and a good understanding of web technologies like HTML/PHP/ASP will be a definite advantage - as will be a working knowledge of common statistical reporting measures e.g., page views, unique visitors etc.
Duties include
- tagging of website pages
- URL submissions to search engine directories and portals
- identifying suitable exchange partners for clients
- analysis of web page content including images and copy
The role represents an excellent opportunity for a recent college leaver or graduate who is meticulous in their attention to detail, is insightful and who takes pride in whatever they do.
