Is websidestory the right analytics company to join?

It seems to have very good tools, but its financials are not too hot, and it has much competition.

Are websidestory tools top tier?
Is it a viable company to choose for the long-term?
Does anyone have any insight or info?

WebSideStory is top of the line for analytics... they are presently beta testing the Google API for financials to be integrated into those analytics... they have some great tools... in particular the overlay for tracking click percentages for each element on a page... and the pathing (you can see what paths lead to deadends etc)

WebSideStory is next on my list to try. So far I have tried the following.

ClickTracks
The software is very intuitive. They really know how to design a user interface. Unfortunatly, the reports leave one wanting.

NetTracks
Nettracks had some great reporting features. You can create almost an unlimited # of reports on just about anything you can imagine. The drill down features are probably one of best features. You can also use page tags and raw logs combined to track beyond what just straight web logs would tell you. The one area it lacks is integration with PPC costs. It can track conversions, but you have to calculate ROI via a seperate spread sheet.
