I think it would be very worthwhile for new members and old alike to combine on a thread to try and list all of the numerically or qualitatively measurable SEO factors. I'll begin with as many as I can think of off the bat:

1. Google link:www.url.com - shows a sample of backlinks at Google

2. Google site:url.com - shows the number of pages in Google's index for a particular site

3. Google "url.com" -site:url.com - shows the number of pages where the URL is mentioned in Google's index

4. Google theming - http://labs.google.com/personalized/siteflavored - shows what theme Google thinks your site has

5. Yahoo! linkdomain:url.com -site:url.com - shows the number of links Yahoo! knows of to any page at your TLD (not including those on the site itself)

6. Yahoo! link:http://www.url.com - shows the number of links Yahoo! knows of to a particular page or the homepage of your site

7. Yahoo! linkdomain:url.com site:tld.com - shows the number of links Yahoo! knows of from a particular domain to another, useful for checking sitewides, etc.

8. WebPageAnalyzer http://www.websiteoptimization.com/services/analyze/ - shows the download speed and spread of html, images, plug-ins, etc. that contribute to the KB size of a page

9. PageRank - measured in the toolbar or with certain tools, like http://www.pagerank.net/pagerank-checker/

10. Directory PageRank - measured by visiting Google's directory - http://directory.google.com and checking the size of the green bar next to a site's listing

11. MSN Beta link:url.com -site:url.com - shows the number of links MSN Beta knows of to a particular domain, note that MSN does not differentiate between pages & sites with this command (they have no equivalent of Yahoo's linkdomain)

12. Archive.org http://www.archive.org/ - Age of site - not very accurate, but the best measure possible - works well with popular sites

13. Deeplink Percentage - I calculate using Yahoo! and the formula 1-((linkdomain-link)/link) where link is the homepage and linkdomain uses the TLD.

14. Google - allinanchor position, allintext position, allintitle position, allinurl position - these unique pieces can be added prior to a search to see how well the URL ranks for just the keyword in anchor text, on-page text, title, etc.

15. Keyword Density - a variety of tools, including SEOChat's - http://www.seochat.com/seo-tools/keyword-density

I'm sure there are tons more, I'll try to add to the list again tomorrow.

Here are some from what I and some others had done previously on this.

Anthony,

Great list, but I'm hoping for more of a list of commands or URLs where certain attributes of a site can be checked. The goal would be to build out a list that one could put into a spreadsheet and compare the top 20 pages, etc.
