I've made a number of new year resolutions that have some interesting parallels in both my lifestyle and my searching behavior.

1. Lose weight; ditch the Google toolbar.
2. Get more exercise; use multiple engines for every query.
3. Renew relationships with neglected friends and acquaintances; mine ancient bookmarks for forgotten gems.

I've written about these and other resolutions in today's SearchDay article, Search Resolutions for the New Year (http://searchenginewatch.com/searchday/article.php/3454801).

What search related resolutions do you all have for the coming year?

Read my "Search Day" e-mails when I receive them each day instead of letting them pile up!

ditch the Google toolbar. I don't wanna go into withdrawal... I can't believe I actually surfed the net without my precious alexa and google toolbars.

Well - dealing with the first resolution I ditched the Google tool-bar as well
as IE (when possible) and moved to FireFox with quirk (GPR + Alexa) extension.
