About two months ago I noticed that the main difference between Google's search and content network lies within the distibution of clicks among the keywords:
+ AdSense: 90% of the impressions, clicks, and acquisistions come from maybe 10 to 15 out of several hundred words. The "upside down pyramid" is extemely wide and then sort of drops off into a void. +
+ Search: the impressions, clicks, and acquisistions are more widely spreadout among a greater number of keywords. The base of the "upside down" pyramid is more narrow but after that there's a smoother transition from highest producing keyword low volume words (excuse the visualization but it's easier to explain it this way). +
The question is, I have to add more words to my content account, and wanted to know if anyone had this type of experience before. Is it best to use variations of existing successful words or to choose completely new words that fall into a somewhat different category?
