Message board submission

I have no idea how to get a message board listed.. can anyone help?

If the search engines do not know about it, then make sure to link to the site from a page that is already in the search engine's index.

There can be other problems, hard to tell without knowing more specifics.

rusty has presented the easiest way (he's good at making things look easy) :D

You should also search terms like "forum directories" or "message boards" to find likely candidates for free links to your site. Some will even charge a nominal fee, but it will increase your traffic as long as the message board's central theme is interesting ;)

Also ensure session ids are disabled for guests [guests - as SE bots are guests not members].

If it's phpbb, let me know in this thread and I can tell you what phpbb-approved mod to employ to remove session ids from your forum links. I've used the mod with two of my forums and it works.
