ODP editor lurking? Repeated problems with R-Z registration.

Hello.

In case there's an ODP editor lurking about...

I've had repeated problems with registration for the resource-zone forum.

My first attempt at registration was using the same handle I use here - I entered my birthdate and "agreed" to the terms, entered my username (sarumu1) and then entered my email and password. The "you will receive an email to complete registration" page showed up and I never received an email. Nothing in my bulk mail folder. This was approx 6 days ago.

I was unable to attempt registration using my same email account yesterday - I was "told" that sarumu1 was already in use. I logged on successfully, but wasn't permitted to do anything (posting, etc). In an attempt to check to see if there is some problem, I logged out, requested a new password, was told that an email would be sent to my account - and never received it. And I checked my bulk mail as well - no email from R-Z.

I then attempted to use a forwarding email address linked to my old undergrad account and provided my actual first name "subbu" as my handle - and never received a confirmation email to complete registration with that attempt. Again, nothing in my bulk mail either.

I then filled in the "feedback" form and am still waiting on that.

I'm frustrated.

There was a problem handling some emails until about an hour and a half ago. It probably stems from the very recent server relocations.

We think it's Ok now for future registrations. A scheme is being hatched to release recent ones that are stuck in the middle. Please be patient.
