Some content management system produce links like www.example.com/articles/86453644 (http://www.example.com/articles/86453644) - that don't end with a file extension like .htm, .asp etc.

Has anybody known this to have any impact on SEO? I don't think it will as the links can be crawled.

Does anybody know differently?
