Hi
I am looking for a good affiliation application which will enable me to manage all affiliators to my site on PPL and PPA base.
I am considering developing my own affiliation but before I do that I would like to know if there is "off the shelf" product in an ASP model
Thanks you

if you want it remotely hosted ( and recommended if you can afford it ) then try contacting companies like cj.com , linkshare.com and even marketingtips.com's accocTrac Seems to be good.

Those guys are high end... cj, linkshare, and valueclick have a starting price of around 12-20K... there are a lot of small free scripts or even free programs supported by the credit card processors.
Why do you want ASP? Would an inexpensive hosted solution work?

I've used Kowabunga Technologies, My Affiliate Program. It's an affiliate tracking and management program. But, they don't process sales.

Like I said , go with them if you can afford it. I agree that you can easily get free scripts . And some are good but then they will make you face certain problems -
1. They are less in features and tracking ability ( say if a script uses cookies and the visitor has his cookie diabled then your affiliate loses his sale , and this scares off potential partners . MarketingTips.com's affilite program does not rely solely on cookes and they advertise this fact ).
2. YOu will have to build the credibility that you will pay on time.
3. You will have to keep tab on updates and customization of the script.
Sometimes paying might be a good thing!!! Just my opinion :p
PS. ASP is not only active server pages but also a software model in which the script is maintained and served by third party . You don't have to worry about its upgrading , bugfixes etc. ( eg enism ?? )

We are about to roll out a program using that.
