Based on experience at other PCC networks that offer "outsourced search" on a revshare basis, the new Web Search feature of AdSense has me a little worried. https://www.google.com/adsense/ws-overview

By far, this model has been the most abused in the past by "revshare spammers" -- by those I mean folks who *force* visitors into search results pages that serve up revshare results. There's a host of techniques for delivering traffic to these pages, from spam pages in natural results to popups with search results (think Overture and Gator) to just putting a search engine results page as the index of a popular domain name or building an entire site around a set of search results (see "sailing.com" for a fairly sophisticated example).

Adn don't forget the dirty secret that some revshare spammers write programs to "fake" clickthroughs on their own revshare listings...

What experiences have others had with revshare partner abuse on paid listings sites, and what's the thinking on Google going down this road?
