So people think that Yahoo is updating (http://www.seroundtable.com/archives/001192.html), but we are also noticing changes in backlinks at 216.239.39.104, I personally see them in the main results (http://www.google.com/).

Just wondering if you guys are seeing more backlinks in the update or the same?

I thought maybe Google will show us more after the Google Say Not Reporting All Backlinks : ) (http://forums.searchenginewatch.com/showthread.php?t=2423) fiasco thread.

Yep - but...what does it all mean? :)

It would be nice to feel that the data were actually meaningful again.

Super, 464 new links for me :)

In reality, it's either a Thanksgiving gift for all of us that use this "link:" functionality or a minor response from all the noise comming from the previous thread. Nothing else.

If it could only be shown in real time as they actually calculate it for true ranking purposes. That would really W  W me!

I'm also noticing a PR update, one of my disposable domains dropped from PR5 to PR1.

Mine just dropped by 100, or so. What does it all mean  Absolutely nothing!

It means that Google is listening to us. :) We want all backlinks to be shown.

But Google does not serve us, so its ok, no hard feelings here.

Google does serve us though. A large part of their brand and reputation is built upon what people say about them. Many of us SEOs / webmasters are vocal and have a reach beyond our own monitor. This thread will be read by plenty of people other than the random kid typing these keys right now.
