Hi
I am having 24 campaigns and 46 Ad Groups in my account. In these campaigns few keywords are repeated. Is there any tool of google which generates alerts like "Keyword is Already Exisiting".
Thanks,
talkative

No but would be a good idea to double uploads that may include duplicate terms.

Google has recently released an AdWords Diagnostic Tool (http://www.traffick.com/2004/10/adwords-diagnostic-tool-unravels-ad.asp). You need to be logged in for it to work.

You might also want to use the campaign search tool. Look for the words "Search my campaigns: keywords, ad text, etc.", and an entry box, near the top right of Campaign Management pages.
Searching on a keyword here will tell you everywhere it occurs within your account.
Also, doing a keyword report from the 'Reports' tab would be an option worth exploring.

Yeah but if you are uploading 200 new terms either tool is not a bulk answer.

Agreed. :)
I'll pass along this feedback as a 'request' for a future tool to do this, during the ad creation process - and as a standalone 'check for kw dupes' tool as well.
(Also, this is probably a good time to mention that I'll be sending my Advertiser Feedback Summary out on Wednesday evening, rather than Thursday this week. Also, I'll be away on Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday here in the US, and as a result will not be posting on those days.)

Does having Duplicate keyword/phrases matter to anything?
If uploading, can't you remove dupes before hand?

They can get placed to wrong creatives and be disabled quicker... testing results are lost because you are not aware of how many get sent to the other ad and bid etc.
In general you should know them all but sometimes things happen... remember there are extended terms that may contain the word/s where you are not concerned but may be impacted by competition of Max CPC etc.
Sorry about the edit I hit the wrong button!!!!!!!!!!!!!
