What do you think about the MSN Sandbox Tools? (http://sandbox.msn.com)

This section of MSN has several interesting tools. The ones that grabbed my attention are

3° (Third degree) is a social networking environment that connects a small group of family and close friends. You can share personalized animations, digital photos, music, initiate chat and more.

NETSCAN

This is a nice tool I would use for datamining newsgroups

Here is an example for the
country western group (http://netscan.research.microsoft.com/Static/reportcard.asp?timespan=m&searchdate=9/21/2004&searchfor=rec.music.country.western) Useful for dataminig email addresses and users’ names.

TERRASERVER

The TerraServer allows you to locate high resolution USGS aerial imagery and USGS topographic maps. This is a nice tool for adding intel graphics to reports.

PS

I'm not sure if this has been posted before, and I did a search for the tools and nothing was returned. If it was posted before, please feel free to merge with the corresponding thread.

Good find Orion - this area was empty a few weeks ago when I looked. Glad to see it's been updated. I hope they get a program like Google Alerts - that's a godsend for SEOs and regular searchers alike. I had a friend who died recently of MS and having news alerts delivered to me everyday on the disease was great.

I retested NetScan. From this end doesn't seem to be working now.
