Google is by far the reigning champion of the search engine world. With Yahoo and Bing only collecting a bit of the marketshare, is there any other search engine that can rival Google? Baidu is the only one I can think of, because it's so dominant in China and China represents a large market.

Bing (which includes Yahoo search) has 30% of search traffic. That's not too bad.
It's worth remembering that in 1998, the biggest search engine was Lycos. The "lycos.com" site is still up, but it's just a Bing reseller. Myspace was once #1 in social networking; today they were sold for $35 million.
Blekko is still tiny, but getting good reviews. Their hard line on spam is getting them some traffic.
Google pays Apple $100 million a year to be the official search engine of the iPhone. Apple may choose to get into search, or buy one of the little guys, to get the search ad revenue. Apple hates giving up revenue to a third party.

Yahoo doesn't have a search engine. Yahoo has been a reseller of Bing for the last year.
