About Directories

Is directory submission is useful for driving traffic. i have submitted more than 2000 directory before 4 month i got only 20 backlinks and even single traffic

Directories are useful only for getting backlinks and increasing the ranking of the site.
It is not for getting traffic.

actually if you get in to the right directories you will get traffic as they rank too
