I was just checking on the Cached Version of my home web page as shown by Yahoo Search! It's most intriguing. Try it for yourself. Here are the words at the top of the Yahoo! Search Cached Version screen:
Below is a cache of www.yourdomain.com It's a snapshot of the page taken as our search engine partner crawled the web.
That search engine partner is still Google, you'll be pleased to hear. What's even more intriguing is that this home page carries a date identifier and the Cached Version shown is not what Google is currently showing as the Cached Version. Google today has a Cached Version from the 15th of June. The Y! Cached Version displayed today dates from May 5th.
Does this show the two partners are drifting apart?

This is a leftover from the migration and will be changed in the coming days. The caching is provided 100% by Yahoo Search Technology now.

Thank you for the clarification.

Thank you, TheotherTim, for that explanation. I must admit it means that I was confused about the source of your Cached Version and thus ascribed the wrong date to it. In fact your Cached Version was only 24 hours old whereas the Google Cached Version was 48 hours old. So I should have been congratulating Yahoo! on its very fresh caches.
If that's all a little confusing you can find an explanation (http://www.cre8asiteforums.com/viewtopic.php?p=73660#73660) here.

Dear webmasters, When I searched one of my key terms for my website at yahoo, the result shows two urls of my website. First is: mywebsite.com and Second is: www.mywebsite.com.. I noticed second result with "www". Is this normal? My site never ranked well in yahoo nor google.
my url is :www.tattooxp.com
key term: tattoo supplies
Please, someone help me.

What happens is in some links to your site people have used tattooxp.com and others use www.tattooxp.com so you end up with two listings in the search results.

I have a similar problem with a cached website at Yahoo which is completely outdated (since months).
Which measures can I take to refresh a cached entry - except praying?

Has slurp been back to the site and simply isn't updating the cache or has slurp not been back to see the site and therefore the reason for the outdated cache? If it is the latter, get a few new inbound links to remind slurp to come on by for a visit.
