Hello,

Would anyone know if the images on this lightbox script (on the page below) are capable of being indexed?

I wonder if it would help if there was an image sitemap.

why do you want th image indexed and not the page?

The page already is indexed, there is no problem with the page. I am wondering if the images are capable of being read or are being read by googlebot. I am concerned that the lightbox script is not allowing access for googlebot.

why do you need image read? the page is indexed so are you hoping image adds to ranking for car name or something?

@valt Depends how the lightbox is coded. Having taken just a quick look at your site code, the lightbox seems to have been coded in a pretty search friendly manner, so images should be indexable. However there isn't much text surrounding the image - just a bit of Alt text - so ranking in image search might not be as straight forward.

@Aussie - valt probably wants to rank on image searches
