Help me - No more traffic from Google to my website

I have been watching the traffic analytics of my website pretty much every 6 hours and i have noticed a HUGE reduction in the amount of web traffic from Google search since yesterday.

I usually have a ton of traffic from Google search like 300 pageviews a day and all of a sudden the traffic from Google search reduced drastically.

What can cause this kind of thing. I have searched on Google and my site is still indexed but the traffic reduction shows something is wrong.

There could be people advertising for some terms - do you monitor the traffic numbers from each keyword? if so a drop in one or two of those could mean an advertiser is now at the top in the colored sponsored section and is stealing some of your thunder - also addition of maps or videos or even news can push you further down the page and thus get you less clicks

Added to the point, check the GA keywords Geo and find the differences that cause.
