Hi,

Lycos, a popular search engine in US is sold to an India based company Ybrant Digital for USD 36 million. Lycos earlier belonged to Daum, a part of Spanish Telecom Company, Terra.

I can remember the commercials with the (black lab?) but a lot has changed since then. It's far from what someone would call popular now but it does have some brand awareness and could be relevant again if Ybrant has a good vision for it.
