Anybody know baidu seo? just for china.
what is baidu? And how is it different from other search engines?

Honestly, it's a not-so-terrible Chinese knockoff of Google. It's like a mix of alta-vista at the end and of Google a couple of years ago. It's censored from adult or politically sensitive content as per Chinese regulations. They have some expanding products but they're not really caught up to the rest of the industry. Unfortunately, I don't know Chinese but from people I talk to who do, they say it's not too bad.

I haven't done anything to optimize for it. But maybe that is a good thing considering the hackers... :)
A tip - you can host in china and get a domain with .com.cn plus english & chinese language site :)

And recently they announced that they will be expanding their territory. I'm not sure about a US based version, but it would be cool :)

Baidu is the biggest search engine in China, and of course if you want to do some SEO or PPC work you musy first know Chinese. Ask me if you have any questions about Baidu.
