I know it is commonly frowned upon, but I have a client who needs a drastic increase in rankings in just 2 months.
I am looking for a place to buy HIGH PR links in a variety of industries.
Thanks

first and foremost you can register your site with directories
next I would look for sites in related industries to sponsor
if you need a link broker I think the two biggest are textlinkbrokers and patrickgavin.

Critter, be careful with buying links.....very careful. Even through some link brokers you can still come unstuck, so do your research wisely first and get all your facts.

a good business tip is to always under promise and over deliver. I would suggest telling the client that the feedback loops in search engines may make it take a bit longer and then if you are on time you did good.
by promising quick results in competitive fields you may be setting yourself up for failure.

I know...I didn't promise these results, but they need them b/c of their industry.
STINKS
I was hoping for some advice of any techniques to help move up the SERP's faster...

Hi Critter,
Having a two month window is not much time when relying on links to boost your positioning in a competitive field. If it is seasonal as you suggest, you may be better off spending the initial monies on a PPC thru G or O while commencing a strong linking campaign.

The industry doesn't allow for PPC on Google and Overture....It looks like to me I will just be working night and day for the next two months building LINKS..... If I attain enough backlinks within the industry - I am bound to see some increase in rankings in about 2 months time.
As I said, the sites have been online for a while, so no sandbox effect to deal with.
Cheers!
