If you haven't already, SEMPO also maintains a job board (http://www.sempo.org/sempo-request-services.php) where you might get some people interested. Free to post, so shouldn't hurt.

Where are you located? I'm assuming that you will want these people to be in your area?

WebmasterWorld and Search Engine Forums both have commercial exchange forums, you can post the type of work you need done there.

I'm in Toronto, Canada.

I do not necessarily need the person to be in the same city as me, as long as I feel I can trust the person to do the work. As I build more trust, I will give more work.

Cheers!

Hey Critter we are in Toronto as well, you are better to look outside this city ...SEO's are hard to find here.

I have had much luck outsourcing to various contacts around the world

Just make sure that you have a service level agreement and NDA all should be good

Cheers

Cant complain Critter....been here in Toronto doing it for just over 7 years now.

Unfortunately Canada itself has a smaller area of Online Agencies for really get SEO value or SEM. I find myself doing more education or de-education of online marketing factors.

We are currently also engaging to find VC funding to get more exposure in the USA and Europe but still remaining to charge in Canada Dollars....at least our "monopoly" dollars we can still cash for now

Unfortunally, there is no money left in our country.....online advertising is nowhere where it should be compared to the USA and Europe.

Our currently client base doesnt even have one Canadian client in it, the last Canadian client we had, thier contract ended 10 months ago and there is only so much speaking you can do here in Toronto that still falls on deaf ears regarding SEO/SEM thus the need for us to look at our business model from a worldwide prospective, sad, but we cant pull from our own backyard

Cheers
