Hi, I have a client who uses a CMS and when you type in their url it redirects to a page with the index.html extension. Please inform me is anyone knows if this is good or bad for SEO. From what I know, I have always done the redirect the other way. I usually redirect from www.example.com/index.html (http://www.example.com/index.html) to www.example.com/ (http://www.example.com/) . Can anyone shed some light on which is the right method.
