Hope this is not a Dumb post but for a brand spanking new site, is there any negative effects from an SEO perspective on starting an adwords campaign right away? Or does it make sense to wait a period of time until the search engines have indexed the site.

adwords will not impact SEO so it is good in the sense it will give you the chance toget conversions and traffic... see which keywords work best etc... great start for the site and good test methods

Yes, I am totally agree with Aussie, you don't need to wait to get your site indexed in SE database as the adwords are not algorithmic and don't require any links backs to your site.

Basically, adwords are extemely useful when you want leads from your site in the intial stage of its launch and its nowhere in the organic results for its keywords.

Exactly. One of the great things about AdWords is that it's instant. Your site could have been up 5 minutes and you can bring huge amounts of traffic to it, before it's even showing in the natural listings. Once you start to get good rankings for certain keywords (which could take months) you may then want to consider stopping advertising on those with AdWords.

The double listings have shown that they provide increased click thru for both listings

Yes, that's true - I have seen studies that show just that. Ultimately you well get more traffic (and conversions) with both ads and good natural rankings. I only said you could consider pausing certain keywords. It might make sense to pause them, particularly if they are expensive.

ok but dont you think PPC would drive me the relevant users what i want but in natural listing there would be lots of users which may not interested in my product or service
