Hello SEM friends.

How do I view site usage data (time on site, pages / view, etc) for Google Search Partners? I've set my campaign to run on Google's Search Partners, but I can't see who they are nor can I see how they've interacted with the website using Google Analytics.

I can only see basic AdWords statistics in the AdWords Report Center - clicks, impressions, and cost - which isn't helping me to determine if I want to continue running my ads on Google's search partners.

I need to see how much time these visitors are spending on the site, how many pages they're viewing on the site, and other valuable metrics that are only available in Google Analytics. But unfortunately, I can't seem to separate Google Search Partners from regular Google Search Traffic! Can you please help me?

Thanks, in advance!

you can get the info if you set up groups that just get traffic from partners and use tracking code - but there is also a filter in google analytics you can create but don't have it handy

Analyzing usage data for a site helps you track how many users visit your site, the type and number of hits your site receives, and other site usage information. You can view the site usage summary and the site collection usage summary. For example, you can examine Average requests per day, Top Pages, Top Users, and Distinct Users for the site.

while this information is important it does not address the question

Do you have any more information about creating that filter in Google Analytics? Thanks for your help!

Yes, this is already what I am trying to do. I just don't know how to isolate Google Search Partners from Google Search in order to do this.

Ha! We have actually just posted an article explaining this very topic. Part of our Underused Google Analytics Features series. Find out how to set it up here:

See Google Search Partners in Analytics (http://www.periscopix.co.uk/blog/index.php/underused-google-analytics-features-part-eight/)

Let us know if you have any problems (not that you should!).
