Hello,
I have read a number of tips on how highly searched keywords will drive traffic to websites. I've used some links from SEW that direct to keyword tools. I have selected highly searched keywords and compared them to Google Traffic Estimator (which connects to Adwords). I've found that if I use SEOBook's keyword tool, I find some words are more searched for than the same word on Google's Traffic Estimator. I've also noticed that if a word has a Google daily estimate of 4,000+ then it should lead to that many visits for this word, yes? And if using a combination of related keywords the traffic should be go up even higher, yes? I ask because although I have highly searched keywords on my site, I don't see the reflected traffic. And I do know SEO strategies, I've spent time reading about them here and on other forums as well as other sites that provide suggestions and tutorials about SEO and monetization. I have a lot of back links from Google, yahoo, and Bing; have good link partners; and quality articles; post on forums, blogs and other websites; join social networking sites; and have good page rank but my traffic is not anywhere near what it should be for my niche. So I wonder what is it about keywords? Using SEOBook, Google Traffic Estimator, etc. I type in a keyword and click for the result which provides the traffic estimates for the given keyword. I then post articles that use these keywords. I have fresh content because I publish daily and have nearly 400 articles on my site (my site will be 1 year old later this month). But why are my traffic numbers so low?
Am I using the keyword tools incorrectly?
