Hi All - I have a client who has built a pure Flash site, and we are trying to promote via AdWords. We shifted some keywords from an existing, established campaign to a new campaign for this site. The performance for the same terms has been much, much worse.
We spent time with a Google AdWords Specialist to diagnose the problem with the campaign. Google Specialists could find nothing wrong. The Specialist conferred with a couple of colleagues as well & could not explain the poor performance for the campaign. The CPC is over double it was for the previous campaign, CTR is a fraction of previous campaign. The ad quality scores are actually good. She said the flash format can impact quality scores, but in this case, that doesn't seem to be the case.
Has anyone had a similar experience to this? We really want to pinpoint some factors to share with the client, and anyone else with a similar situation can share, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks! Kristen
