PR Update?

Is google running a PR update? My main site stayed with a PR5, but blog went from PR3 to a PR2. And another site went from 0 to 1. Anybody else seeing PR changes on their sites?

Google Page Rank update was from 27th and there was some variation and dance. Now seems to be standard :)

Many factor work behind it. Main factor is that on page of site and everything should be matched.

Have you seen a Pagerank moved from 6 to 0, from one day to another?

And the number is a clear 0. (Not undefined)

I really don’t know what could happen. We didn´t ran any kind of special activities (no cloaking, no domain change, etc)

What do you recommend that I should check to know what had happen?

Aussie, few days back there was update for few new sites may be they would have located in some Google data centers and left out on the org update. Sometimes it happens :) one of the site I noticed was from 2 to 5

All the links comes from normal sites, I mean we don´t pay for links.

About the UK website, it disappeared from Google UK rankings. Only if I search for the direct domain in Google UK I found it. But if I use our brand as search term.. We are not there.



Our German website also had a drop from Pagerank 6 to 0. The German website it is found easily when you search our brand.

All this changes are pretty weird because we are not doing special activities or changed our server configuration.

The only thing could be that we began to use the Google webmaster tool….. but this was made 3 months ago.

Have you ideas or suggestions about this change? (and how to solve it)

BTW -- Google must have done another pagerank update since my original post in late May as the blog went back to a PR3 recently. I guess they're starting to happen more than 3-4 times per year.

Hope key contents are not copied and you may do a search with your content whether any other popular domains uses? And if so you may report about the site for solutions.

As well, in your Webmaster tool do you see everything working? And hope you have not over done SEO also check you dint host your site with a host that allows spammers
