I had my site hacked - & a load of complicated php scripts added to one of my directories.
Only noticed when I got a load of hits from users entering search terms for well known and less well known porn sites from people using Yahoo. Must be some pretty powerful black hat SEO as suddenly my tiny (page ranked 1) local site was #1 on Yahoo for a well known porn magazine. Not on google though.
Well of course I've deleted the added files, changed hosting provider, and patched (I think) the vulnerabilities.
Now, some questions:
1) I've done a 301 redirecting the deleted hacker pages somewhere else away from my site - any problem with this?
2)Am I likely to get punished by Google for this? This all happened a few days ago, the google cache is more recent, and my rankings for my search terms haven't suffered yet.
3)Anything else I can do?
Thanks in advance, I'm terrified of what this could do to my business.
