New member, first time poster looking for help on a simple but irritating problem.
Google has been my home page for as long as I can remember and it evolved to iGoogle last year. Liked it, simple, customized the way I wanted, etc. no problems till lately.
I have both Firefox 3.0.1 and IE 7.0.5730.11 as browsers. Both have iGoogle has selected homepage. When I open Firefox, up pops iGoogle as specified. When I open IE, recently (last 3-4 weeks) it only opens up MSN.com which I then have to manually override by selecting "home" from the Msn menu bar. I have repeatedly selected iGoogle as home page from the Tools/Internet Options menu in IE, to no avail.
Msn.com keeps appearing as my IE homepage. Any suggestions on what I'm missing or why this continues to happen? Thanks

you are most probably running a security mod (spybot resident etc) which prevents alteration of your homepage. Try shutting down all running security apps, then resetting your homepage and see if it sticks.
It would probably have been set as MSN in the first place by a micorosft install somewhere along the line.

I have also experienced the homepage thing. I just keep editing the set homepage and keep restarting the browser. Maybe a security software is what keeps your homepage set to MSN
