Why do some of my keywords not show up in a search?

A good number of keywords that I have entered in my ad groups do not show up when I search for them. I checked because I have zero impressions on keywords that I am sure people use. Sure enough my add is not there, why?

Some of the searches only have 3 sponsored links, so I know it is not because I didn’t bid enough.

Is there a limit to how many keywords you can enter?

no but you could be bidding low and have budget set low for impressions that are available

is there a more sponsored links link at the bottom of the showing ads? if so look there

No,
For example: I have a keyword “broken garage spring”
If I Google broken garage spring only one sponsored link shows up, and the only highlighted word in the add is garage.
I don’t get it???
This is just one of many.

they are being broad matched for garage.... try raising your bid and see what ahppens

It could be your quality score too. Take a look at your landing page copy and your ad copy to ensure that you are using your keywords there.

Check your settings at the campaign level and see if you have it set for "show ads as quickly as possible" vs. space ads out during the day. I prefer the first b/c Google doesn't guess very well with the 2nd.

How can one increase its impressions anyway?

increase bids.... try adding longtail terms and be solid for negatives

Increase bids? HOw do you do that sir.. Im sorry, I don't even know what bid is..
