I need to buy traffic, does not need to be targeted, any ideas?

Hello Fellow SEM's, I need to buy traffic for a health products/ beauty products related site. It does not need to be targeted, we are looking for volume at this point.

The catch here is that it needs to be dirt cheap.

Any ideas and suggestions will be very much appreciated.

why do u want to waste money on untargeted traffic?!

We are intending to test a CPM advertising platform, that is why it does not matter if the traffic is targeted.

That kinda makes sense :D

But surely the traffic visiting your site would need to have some interest to make the advertising relevant/make them click on the ad.

Would it not be easier to approach a couple of related (health products/ beauty products) websites or blogs who already have a good traffic flow - and pay them to test a new cpm advertising model?

try blowsearch and lycos they have search term exit traffic for under a cent a visitor

You could probably get PPC cheaply too. That's what I would do. Put together a big campaign on the Content Networks and with Placement ads. If you use banner ads/image ads, the traffic is MUCH cheaper, and you will also get a lot more traffic.
