You need to vary the title tags, and the description so that each page is unique

the page name impacts the SERPs so a dynamic numbered page will not help thus you want to change them to static looking html with keywords in url

There is a great website that is dedicated to SEO for Joomla at: alledia.com. There is so much good information including checklists, step by step guides and even evaluation of Joomla extensions for the purpose of SEO. I thought I knew alot about Joomla SEO but learned so much more from the site and joining their Joomla SEO club.
