I am just wondering if anyone has had any experiences with deep linking and/or having multiple links for specific categories that are very different from each other accepted into the dmoz directory.
Thanks!

I am just wondering if anyone has had any experiences with deep linking and/or having multiple links for specific categories that are very different from each other accepted into the dmoz directory. Its against the guidelines to submit anything more than the home page ONCE to the one best category.
Editors can (and do) use there discretion if they wish to list a site in more than one category and deep link (and 1000's of sites do have them) .... its just against the guidelines to submit them

Submitting more than once is against the guidelines.
If your site is still waiting to be reviewed, then your resubmission just overwrites the previous one with the new date --- you put yourself at a disadvantage.
If your site was rejected, then resubmitting will not help - just get you labeled as a spammer; create more work for an editor to delete it again; and slow the process down for everyone else.
