Apologies if this is the wrong forum for this, but there didn't seem to be anything else relevant to "SEO business"
Anyway,
As a bit of background I work as a sole SEO within a much larger agency that also offers corporate hosting, development, design etc etc.
Over the last couple of years the SEO side of the business has been growing steadily, but now we're getting to the stage where it's large enough to section off and treat as a separate entity (while still retaining the brand)
At the same time we're looking to expand fairly aggressively, hiring additional staff, increasing our client base - which leads me to my question - are we missing any tricks when it comes to lead generation?
Until now we've taken a pretty laid back approach to leads coming to us. The majority of our work is referals or derived from our development jobs. The majority of our 'cold' leads come from SEO.
In my business plan I have allowed for a PPC strategy, partnerships with other developers and agencys who outsource their SEO and targeted cold calling. - We're based in central London, so a core of our business is city based clients.
So am I missing any other tricks in terms of lead generation?
Thanks in advance guys :)
