Hi there,

Does anyone know of a way to track links to competitor sites based on page rank.

Ive got a site im helping on at the moment, we have the same number of links (anchor text etc), optimization similar, yet we are on page 11, im thinking it might have to do with the PR of possible links compared to competitors.

Is there a way to check PR of competitors links.

I use the tool SEO-SpyGlass (http://www.link-assistant.com/seo-spyglass/) to check inbound links and it includes PR information. At the time I started using it there was a fee for the license but it looks like they now offer a free download. Please note that I am using a version with a Google API so that may allow for greater access to information like PR.

My personal favourite is http://www.backwatch.com.

You can also simply go to the google search bar and type:
link:examplesite.com

It will list all of the links in the order that Google thinks have the highest value.
