I believe all of us here know that the top 3 search engines in USA are Google, Yahoo! & MSN Live. But what about countries in Asia? What are the top 3 (or top 10) search engines in Japan, China, South Korea, Philippines, Thailand, Taiwan, Vietnam, etc? If possible please cite the source of your info.

As a result, many of Australia’s leading companies are not found listed in the search results of the most popular U.S. and Australian search engines.

Asia, is a little bit too general, as the answer to the question will be different for each country.

China: Baidu is number one, and Google is not getting even close to them. If you target China, you need to work with Baidu.

Japan: For years Yahoo was number 1, but I heard that Google just became number 1 this year.

Russia: Yandex.ru is number one following by rambler.ru. Google is only number 3, and Yahoo does not even exist there.

South Korea: Number 1 is naver.com, then daum.net. and Yahoo is number 3. Google does not have presence there.
