Do Same IP addresses creat bad impression to staying sites in SERP

I have seen that lots of site exists in same ip , then if I interlink site to another neighbor sites what’d happen,

ex: there are A, B, C three sites and A and C site in same ip then a site have inbound link frm b and b also gives backlink for c , here algorithm plays roll, then this linking does matter, doesn’t it. :rolleyes:

No, I think it is on the domain it self IP has nothing to do with that correct me if I'm wrong.

Getting a lot of links from domains on the same IP will likely be discounted. Not sure exactly what amount a "lot" is but I would say a few is OK and a few hundred is probably not OK. Google is smart enough to know about virtual hosting and shared IP addresses and that a certain amount of this is natural, but they also know what link spam is ;-)
