Is crawling the web your hobby? Have you wondered what it would be like to design and tune programs that collect and analyze terabytes of unstructured data (or perhaps you’re already doing so)? Can you take apart highly intelligent multithreaded code operating across hundreds of servers and make it run even faster?

We’re AdGooroo, one of the fastest growing startups in Chicago. Our goal is to collect and organize all advertising on the internet. To do this, we need bright people who want to push the envelope of technology. Learn from us, make what we have better and faster, and even invent new things yourself.
We're looking for ambitious, curious developers with a strong desire (maybe even love?) to work with lots and lots of data. We're light on meetings and heavy on code.
AdGooroo is located downtown in loft space in the West Loop. All employees receive iPhones (including free service with AT&T), dual-monitor PCs, free technical books from Borders, and the occasional Friday afternoon off to relax in our company beer garden. AdGooroo offers competitive compensation based on experience, and excellent benefits including health, dental, life, vision, and 401k.
Interested candidates should have:
* BS, MS (Computer Science) or excellent experience.
* 2+ years experience with SQL Server and T-SQL, including ad hoc queries, stored procedures, DTS, and SSIS
* Experience with RegEx and Microsoft.NET, including C#, VB.NET, and ASP.NET.
* Proficiency with common web technologies such as HTML, XHTML, javascript, etc.
* Demonstrated skills developing robust and maintenance-free code.
* An understanding of the performance issues that come with large databases.
* An ability to ferret out anomalies from large data sets, identify patterns, and turn those observations into repeatable tests.
