Hi people,

I wrote about my idea of web 3.0 on my blog. I'm finishing (endlessly) a Phd in natural language generation and machine understanding (A.I). I happen to be building a web 3.0 application , the system works with the user but the machine not only learns but also makes it's own decisions. It gets data from a website for the user and uses natural language to respond to the user. The user doesn't even visit the website. An extension of this system is to get it to work through a search engine but with an extension that just brings back info rather than people going to the sites.

There is MUCH debate over my work, so don't worry if you disagree with it in any way :)

If you're interested you can read my article on web 3.0 from my perspective, with a few thoughts on seo, I'd be really interested to hear your views.

Thanks,

sounds interesting, I wish you good luck with your work. I hope this doesn't come off as (non-constructive) criticism, but if you want people in the world of SEO/other people who deal with the web on a daily basis to get interested in your work, I would not call it "web 3.0".

To most of the SEOs/internet people I know, this would probably be a complete turn-off thinking something along the lines "web 3.0? spare me with that, I'm tired of people talking about web 2.0 which hasn't even arrived...." and immediately thinking it's not worth reading (headlines are important! technically "web 3.0" might get people curious to read about it, but to most I think it'll only make them overlook your work thinking "web 3.0...right.."

so anyway, not trying to bash you, at all, just trying to be honest and helping ;)

Hi there,

yes you're quite right in many ways. The thing is that it is web 3.0 technology as far as we can see it. It's far more advanced than anything previously made for the web, seeing as it's using a lot of sophisticated...hum...well mostly...A.I techniques. I think web 2.0 was a business revolution mostly, changed the way we interact with the web. Web 3.0 changes the way machines interact with the web.

I'm not sure how to present it really.

thanks for the feedback,
