Oh, wow! That's a tough question. It would depend on what all you are lumping into the marketing budget - salaries, etc.

What programs are getting started? What are they selling etc.?

I don't know that it could really be answered without LOTS more details. I bet you could get away with less like $70K/month??

Thanks. I realize it can't be answered precisely, but just a rough figure? Let's say before salaries; selling a technology-related service to active 30s-40s demographic; programs most crucial to quickly attract attendance.

Your PPC advertising is limited by the searches
Banner advertising depends on service and demographic
Is it a completely new service? Is there competition?
What is the price point?
Are you looking to sell or get noticed?

Product/service will impact methods thus costs

New service, no competition, looking to get noticed, attract members. Service is technology-related, in the travel business. Would it be easier to give a marketing estimate as percentage of sales?

have you tried selling this yet? if not sales numbers are out

you need to work on launch, developing name recognition if applicable, possibly develop white labelled and affiliate sellers, test various media buys and search spends ....

what is the selling price or prices, how big is the potential market, is it geo or demographically specific, who would be the influencers,

without specifics it is all guess work

you can start with a small budget and reinvest profits...

Actual Internet marketing totally depends upon many factors like the niche you have opted, the product price, keyword density and of course your knowledge of internet "World Wide Web"
