Hello,

Say for example I am working on a site with fish aquariums and there are many unique makes and models.

I am using 2 keywords per page, but should I also use the term "Fish Aquariums Online" (If this is 1 of my selected keywords) over and over with the specific model?

For example:
landing-page.html (2 KY: Fish Aquariums Online, Buy Fish Aquariums)
-->Make-Model.html (2 KY: Fish Aquariums Online [Again?] & model#)
-->Make-Model-2.html (2 KY: Fish Aquariums Online [Again?] & model#2)

etc.

Basically,should I repeat one keyword over if it best describes the page?

My title would be something like: Fish Aquariums Online - Model # | Brand

Thanks!
Dave

There's a research/buying cycle on the 'Net generally given as three or four stages that go by various names. Basically it goes from initial research to shopping for a specific brand/model number. So in your case the cycle might look something like this:

Phase I
fish aquariums
types of fish aquariums

Phase II
acrylic fish aquariums
glass fish aquariums
100 gallon fish aquariums

Phase III
Bubba's Brand 100-gallon acrylic fish aquariums
Bobby-Jo's 100-gallon glass fish aquariums

Phase IV
Bubba's Brand Model 1234 100-gallon acrylic fish aquarium

Overly simplified, but from that you should be able to see what your page titles should like and maybe including your brand tag at the end.

At some phases it's sometimes hard to suss out exactly what the searcher's intent is. If you look at Phase II, these can be "I want to buy an acrylic fish aquarium," or "I'm trying to find the benefits of an acrylic fish aquarium." In cases like this it might be good to have both informational and sell pages, with prominent links to each other.

Sorry I got so long-winded. Did I wind up answering your question?

I think that you need more than 2 keywords/description. I would fit 10 or more in as long as they are relevant. Consumers search in so many different ways, it's a mistake to only shoot for the most obvious terms. I'd also try to vary it for all of the pages.

I'd suggest you use the Google keyword suggestion tool and find out different keyword phrase variations. Try aiming at different variations and that would help. No need to optimize for the model number as long as you have those model numbers in the body text.

There are few key concepts while optimizing your website by specific key terms.

For example,

first basic steps is go for deep keyword research analysis, sorting, sot list for the pages and finely integrate those keywords in the search engine friendly manner.
