Does anyone know of a "who powers who" which includes paid channels and supplementals?
If there isn't already one made, I would be interested in building and maintaining a Who Powers Who that included what major engines pulled paid ads from other sources.
In light of the new relationship between Yahoo and Google we now have more crossover between engines. The typical who powers who is more for the search engines looking down, but i would like something that depicts that if I wanted to advertise on Amazon.com, I could go to "clickriver" (who is now the supplier of the PPC ads shown) and likewise for eBay, Shop.com Internet.com, sourceforge, and bunch of the other major players in the web real estate arena.
It has always been difficult to immediately know who and where some of their content is driven from, so I think an at-a-glance chart could be very beneficial. Or maybe I am actually talking about growing the original chart located here? http://searchenginewatch.com/showPage.html?page=2156401
Any ideas?
