Hi, on or about June 3rd to now.. only my homepage shows in SERPS with about 4 search terms. Before then I had several dozen search terms giving high SERPS placements, from other pages on the website. I am not aware that anything has been changed on the website. My traffic has bombed. Can anyone help?

We can try to help if we have more detail, you didn't give much to go on.

Are the pages still indexed and just not showing for certain search queries? Are they not showing at all for queries or have just dropped down a few pages? Did you suddenly lose a bunch of backlinks? Do you have a Webmaster Tools account for the site and, if so, what indexing information does it show? Have your competitors simply gotten better than you? Was there any overall reshuffle of the SERPs or do you think only your site was affected?

Dig down deep and get your hands dirty, pull out anything that appears to be different than before.

Gemini, I just ran across this WmW thread (http://www.webmasterworld.com/google/3668739.htm) that discusses what appear to be extensive drops starting at the same time as yours. I don't have the time to go through all of it at the moment, but there do appear to be a couple of interesting tidbits. Take a look at it and see if anything the folks are saying over there might apply to your site.

Hi all, thanks for replies. I have had a look at the other thread and what appears to be happening in Google occurred in a similar way last August... and then seemed to be 'rectified' after about a week... I don't know why it has happened or why...
