Hi,

I've installed some Google gadgets on my site, some of which are only visible part of the time. Has anyone else who has installed Google gadgets on his/her site experienced similar tech glitches?

Hard to say for certain but, the issue may be bandwidth related. The weather gadget looks "heavy" and the news gadget uses an iframe to another site. In simple terms, for example the news gadget must load through three different "pages" (your page, the xml / iframe, "source" page).

If this issue continues you might try similar but different gadgets.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my site and for your recommendations. I'm not familiar with iframes but I do know that the current news gadget does open to another site. Interestingly, I have had the least amount of difficulty with the weather gadget. I also have a calorie calculator on the Tools page. I wish to add more gadgets where appropriate, I need to familiarize myself with the issue of bandwidth.

I used to have the weather gadget from the weather channel. I got it directly from the weather channel. That was a few years ago. I will have to check the gadgets out. Thanks WB.
