We are curious to know if the members are using the "Thread Rating System".
If you are, please give us your feedback to let us know what you think.
If you are not, you can read a bit more about it here (http://forums.searchenginewatch.com/forum/faq.php?faq=vb_board_usage#faq_vb_thread_rate) or please tell us why you wish not to use it.
Thanks!

This one is not my cup of tea. I judge a popular thread by the number of posts and what my interests are. I don't need a star rating system to tell me what is good to read, no more than I need it in a newspaper.
Also, this tool you have to go out of your way to get to it, it is not as handy as the Reputation button. It clutters the screen and it is kind of cheesy.

I know you where asking "members" but I guess my word count too - as a moderator :)
I have used and like the rating system. I rated a few threads allthough I must admit I did not take the first steps - someone else had rated the same thread ahead of me. And maybe thats really what triggered me. I looked at the rating and said: Yeah, that IS a really good thread - and went ahead and rated it.
Over time I thin k this can turn out very valuable to highlight the best threads
