I dont know what else i can do to get on the first page for cheap game servers on google.co.uk .. i have optimized with keyword density and alt tags etc and i just cant break through.

i think you might go for some similar high PR website to require for the link exchange, maybe this will help a bit

wow. sounds like the blind leading the blind here. J-man - is that ALL that you did? "optimize" with KW density and alt tags? Did you do anything else? Like make sure your site is technically sound? SE-friendly? Make sure your site is indexed? Make sure you have enough inbound links - and targeted inbound links? Make sure you have no duplicate content, etc.? Have you researched your competition? Do they kill you in links? Any of that?
